Whispering Pines sits at 9660 feet above sealevel and is nestled in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with breathtaking views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountain Ranges. The beautiful Colorado starlit skies and the twinkling lights of Cannon City can be seen at night from the Inn. There is an abundance of wildlife around the area.
We feature five luxurious rooms including two suites. All the rooms have private baths, hydrotherapy air tubs and include thick terry robes for your comfort. The two suites have a fireplace, king bed, private bath, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator.
A full hearty country breakfast is included in the room rate and is served each morning.
Our property is located just one mile from the historic gold mining town of Cripple Creek, Colorado and about an hour west of Colorado Springs. The town offers nineteen casinos with many fine restaurants. The area has many other attractions which include a live theater, ghost walks, tours of gold mines, hiking, white water rafting (one hour away), the Royal Gorge Bridge (one hour away), Pikes Peak Cog Railway (40 min. drive), skiing about one and a half hours away (Breckenridge), and more.
