Sarasota is the winter home to the Cincinnati Reds....and just north lies Bradenton-winter home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Convenient access to Siesta Key/Vilage to the south and I-75 North and south corridors. Sarasota Int'l airport (SRQ) is approc 15 minutes away and the St.Pete/Tampa Bay area lies just north and about a 30-45 minute drive. Bradenton Beach and Anna Marie Island lie just minutes to the north of SeaPlace.

Note-Baseball fans- this is a GREAT location to be in for Grapefruit League/Spring Training schedule. With the hometown Reds, neighboring Pirates, within an hour drive you can catch the Blue Jays at Dunedin, the Phillies at Clearwater, the Devil Rays at St. Pete, the Yankees at Tampa, the Indians at Winter Haven and the Red Sox just to the south . This is in addition to their Atlantic coast winter opponents such as the Mets/Port St. Lucie, the Dodgers/Vero Beach, the Braves/Lake Buena Vista (Disney etc.)
Also- Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays is conveniently located along I-275 N in St.Pete, just north of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge.
