The Villages has world-class golf courses, numerous other recreational amenities and social activities, all in a beautiful and friendly hometown community. A golf cart is included for your use on the Villages extensive golf path system and 22 executive and 9 championship golf courses. Terrific location in a quiet neighborhood very close to numerous recreation centers, pools, golf courses, nearby shopping plazas and the new Sumter Landing Town Square.

Our home has an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings in the spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen. Enjoy the 32-inch cable television with DVD/VCR and stereo system in the comfortably furnished living room. The fully-equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar that seats 4. The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 and sliding glass doors to the screened lanai. Enjoy some of your meals in the screened lanai, complete with a dinette set, ceiling fan, and large gas grill.

The house's three bedrooms comfortably sleep up to six people. All bedrooms have beds with new Sealy mattresses, night stands, dressers or chests, and plenty of closet space, and are equipped with new linens, ceiling fans, alarm clocks, and telephones for your convenience. The spacious master bedroom has a king-sized bed, a comfortable recliner, a 20-inch flat screen cable TV with DVD player, and two walk-in closets. The upgraded master bath has twin sinks, a large tiled walk-in shower with built-in seat, and a separate toilet room. The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and 20-inch cable TV, and the third bedroom has two twin beds and a desk with phone line access for your computer. The second and third bedrooms have access to a full bathroom on a shared hallway which can be closed off from the rest of the house with a pocket door for additional privacy - a perfect set-up if you want to invite guests.

A newly refurbished gas golf cart, road-worthy and equipped with lights for night driving and rain enclosure for the occasional inclement weather, is included in the rental for your use on The Villages’ 31 golf courses (no additional charge; value over $300 per month). The Villages has a very extensive golf path system, so you easily can get to nearby recreation centers, golf courses, and shopping plazas. You can park the golf cart and your car in the 2 ½ car attached garage. A set of golf clubs, tennis racquets and two bicycles are also provided for your use. We now have a computer and high speed internet at the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with full-sized appliances, including refrigerator, gas stove/oven, built-in microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Also included are a coffee-maker, toaster oven, toaster, electric can opener, blender, complete set of dishes, glasses and flatware for 8, pots and pans, and a full array of cooking utensils, bakeware, etc. Two sets of new linens for each bed and a generous supply of towels are included in the rental. A full-sized washer and dryer are located indoors in a utility room for your convenience. An iron and ironing board are also provided. There is a 32 inch cable TV with DVD/VCR in the living room, a 20 inch cable TV with DVD in the master bedroom, a 20 inch TV in the queen bedroom, a stereo system with radio, tape and CD player in the living room, a videotape library, a telephone/answering machine in the kitchen, and telephones and alarm clocks in all three bedrooms.

With your ID pass (optional one-time $50 fee), you pay no greens fees on any of The Villages executive courses. For a modest fee, you can also play on any of the eight championship golf courses. The Arnold Palmer Legends Country Club, The Villages' premier 27-hole course, complete with restaurant, pro shop and golf academy, is a quick seven-minute golf cart drive from the house, and the starting tees for three executive golf courses - Pimlico, Churchill Downs, and Belmont - are even closer! * Swimming, tennis and much, much more! Our home is located within walking distance to several recreation centers and heated swimming pools. The new Churchill Station Recreation Center, only three blocks away, has a large heated swimming pool (open to all ages - great for when the grandkids visit!), as well as several tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffleboard, bocce, horseshoes, billiards and an outdoor pavilion with picnic tables. For a more peaceful swim, the nearby Lynnhaven neighborhood center has an adult-only heated pool. There are also over two dozen other rec centers with pools and other recreation facilities located throughout the Villages for your enjoyment. * Live entertainment daily at two town squares. The charming town squares are the social centers of The Villages, each with live entertainment and happy hours every evening year round! Enjoy your evenings at the original Spanish Springs Town Square, with its beautiful fountains surrounding the gazebo square with live music and dancing. Or, check out the live entertainment at the new nearby Sumter Landing Town Square with its seaside village motif.
