It is near Montbel Lake and has splendid views of the Pyrenees. It has 3 bedrooms, living & dining room, kitchen and a private patio with sunroom. The Castle of Léran dates back to the XII century. This historical building has a perpetual charm. The original tower is built on stone and the two towers from the XIII century, with their 2 mt. thick walls, are what remains of the original feudal castle. In the XVII century, Jean-Claude de Lévis renovated the fortifications and restored the castle. He was also responsible for the construction of the stone staircase. Its high, sloping roof features splendid, wooden supports that give the room a special charm. There is an excellent view of the park and a wide, panoramic view of the area from its windows. The heating is incorporated in the wooden floor. It has a queen-size bed (160x200) and a sofa bed (150). The en-suite bathroom has a double bath, shower cabinet and toilet. There is a large living room with TV, DVD and dining table and chairs. The room’s size, furnishings, comfort and amenities combined with the incomparable atmosphere of the castle will make your stay here an unforgettable experience. SUN Bedroom This is a spacious (40 sq. m.) bedroom below the Zen Suite. It contains 2 single beds (90) and a double bed (140) which can also be used as a sofa. Its windows open on the castle’s central courtyard and give views of the beautiful countryside. The colour scheme and antique furniture create a warm and cosy ambience. There is an en-suite with a large bath, hand basin and toilet. MOON Bedroom Next to the Sun Bedroom, this room (20 sq m.), has a double bed (140) and is neatly decorated with white furnishings contrasting with the purple colour of the room. This, together with delicate decorative items, gives this room a character of its own, an intimate and pleasant atmosphere. The en-suite has shower cabinet, toilet and hand basin. From its windows we can contemplate the magnificent, central courtyard of the castle and perhaps allow our minds to wander back in time…. If only these walls could talk!

Leran: You need to cross it to reach the castle. The main street is very pleasant, especially in summer, because of the shade of its centuries old trees. Its narrow streets reminders of its mediaeval past. Near Léran, is the Lake Montbel an ideal place for swimming, sailing or fishing. There is a large range of leisure activities to choose from, either nearby the castle or in the surrounding region.The attractive roads of Léran are a great way to start the day!Gastronomy: There is an abundance of mouth-watering natural products.
