The Temple House is an historic hotel located less than a half block from Nauvoo Temple Square at 1240 Mulholland. It is the closest hotel to the Nauvoo Temple.
Many of our rooms offer splendid views of the temple, some of which come equipped with kitchens. All of our rooms are close to historic sites, adjacent to downtown shops and restaurants, and only steps from the Nauvoo Temple.
Room 21, The Valor Room, is a second floor room offering wonderful views of the temple, a queen-sized bed, a large bathroom with jetted tub for two, cable TV, and a mini-fridge and elegant antique furniture.
Room 22, The Providence Room, is a spacious room on the second floor featuring 10 foot ceilings, views of the temple, a large bathroom with jetted tub for two, a king-sized bed, mini-fridge and cable TV. The room is complete with the original plaster moldings and original wood floors and beautiful Oriental rug.
Room 23, The Hope Suite, is a three-room suite (Hope, Faith & Charity)on the 2nd floor that can sleep up to 8 people. One large room offers two queen-sized beds, the next room has one queen-sized bed and the third room has a queen bed. There is a standard bathroom with tub/shower plus an additional bath is located in the common hall allowing each of the three rooms to have equal access to it. The Hope Suite includes a mini-fridge.
Room 28, The Village Suite, includes two rooms; one featuring a queen-sized bed, a mini-fridge, cable TV, and bathroom (with tub/shower combination); the other has a full-sized bed. Located in the rear of the second floor, The Village Suite offers quiet seclusion.
Room 29, The Old Path Apartment, located on the second floor, is furnished with a queen bed in the bedroom and a futon which makes up into a full-sized bed in the living room, a full kitchen, dining room, bathroom (with tub/shower combination), cable TV, and a deck with a view of the temple. This apartment is great for families, or anyone looking for these valuable amenities.
Room 31, The Cook Suite, located on the third floor, boasts a wonderful view of the temple (its third floor balcony has the best view in the house of the temple, the river and Iowa) , a queen-sized bed in the bedroom, a futon that converts into a full size bed in the living room, cable TV, a kitchen, and dining room.
Room 32, The Homestead Suite, located on the third floor, has a view of the temple, two queen-sized beds plus an additional queen-sized bed in the bedroom, bathroom (with tub/shower combination), cable TV, and kitchenette.
Room 33, Edith's Room, located on the third floor, has a queen-sized bed, cable TV, mini-fridge and bathroom (with tub/shower combination).
Groups are welcome. Rooms on the second floor will sleep 20, rooms on the third floor will sleep 14, for a total of 34 when the entire hotel is rented.
