Welcome to the English Cottage Inn Bed & Breakfast. We hope you'll enjoy your stay and we look forward to making it memorable. We are a seasonal Inn offering rooms during Notre Dame games and special events weekends. The Inn is a place that has a relaxing, peaceful atmosphere and feels like home away from home.

Upon arriving, guests may retreat to their room to relax, or enjoy some goodies from the kitchen. It would be our pleasure to give you information concerning local dining, shopping, and area attractions that will make your stay more memorable.

In the morning, a bountiful, full breakfast will be waiting for you in the dinning room. If requested ahead of time we can deliver breakfast right to your room.

The three cozy guest rooms are tastefully decorated with Queen Anne charm, quilts and comforters, antiques and charming beds. The gathering room allows guests to sit and relax after a long day and during late fall enjoy a roaring fire. Some guests enjoy heading outside, however, to sit in the wicker furniture on the large front porch or play with their children in the handmade playhouse out in the garden.

The English Cottage Inn Bed and Breakfast is conveniently located minutes from downtown south bend near the historical district. The University of Notre Dame is located only 1 mile north, and we are only 90 minutes from Chicago.

We are centrally located and close to many recreational activities. We are close to the internationally known East Race Waterway. The East Race is located downtown South Bend and is known to be one of the best man-made whitewater rafting locations in the world. We are also close to the morris civic as well, a large concert/events center. If you want it the South Bend area has it...please inquire futher if you are looking for anything in particular.
