The NorthShore GuestHouse, located at 1475 240th in Marion County Kansas, is less than one mile from the Marion Reservoir and is surrounded by Wildlife and Parks property with over 6,000 acres for public use. Hunting, fishing, bird watching, hiking, horseback riding, and bicycling are some of the activities you can enjoy in our area. The GuestHouse is only rented to one party at a time and is next door to your friendly hosts, Charlie and Lynn. Our area has wonderful places to go hunting and has an abundance of wildlife, including whitetail deer, wild turkey, ringneck pheasant, bobwhite quail, dove, bobcat, and coyote. Or, maybe you just want to hunt wildlife with your camera or binoculars. The NorthShore GuestHouse, located on the Unruh Farm in Marion County, Kansas, offers you seclusion, peace and quiet. It is a great place to experience country life, enjoy a family reunion, or to use as a hunter's haven. It is a snug,private place for a romantic weekend too!

The NorthShore GuestHouse is a 1400 square foot, three bedroom bungalow with a deck overlooking the park lands. The residence has central heat and air and includes a living room furnished with a TV and VCR. There is a bright dining room, with comfortable seating for six, a fully functional kitchen, one and one half baths, and a utility room furnished with a washer and dryer. In two of the bedrooms there are queen size beds and in the third there are two single beds. Six people can be comfortably accommodated. We do have two cots available in order to sleep eight. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, glasses, dish ware, and cooking utensils. An outside dog kennel and shelter is provided. An electric hook up is available for one RV. In the back yard there is ample space to set up three small tents or two large ones. Tenting area and RV hookup rented only in conjunction with the house. Campfires are allowed in the fire ring located in the backyard.

The ice skating is only available when the Reservoir is frozen; and bring your own ice skates.
