Featuring an enclosed porch, 3 bedrooms (1 Queen, 2 Twins & 1 Double), 1 ˝ baths, kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace, ample parking and access to a 20FT Dock and raft, for lots of fun on the lake.
The 1,170 acre beautiful spring fed Lake Wassookeag, which provides the primary water source for the Town's water system as well as a variety of recreational opportunities, is perfect for year round family fun. The Town also has a great nine-hole municipal golf course and driving range, a public beach, camping and picnic areas, and a small regional airport which offers 3,000 feet of lighted paved runway. Additionally, snowmobiling, fishing, water sports, and hunting are all popular recreational activities associated with the area. Dexter also has many clubs and organizations that are very active in the community.
If you are interested in canoeing/kayaking, whitewater rafting, cross-country skiing, hiking trails, biking trails, bird watching(loons, bald eagles, cormorants, ducks, etc.), moose watching, this home is located in the heart of Maine's snowmobile and ATV country with easy access to groomed trails including ITS 84 which gives you access to virtually the entire state. Downhill skiing is available within 30 miles. White water Rafting trips on the West Branch of the Penobscot, Dead, and Kennebec Rivers are all in close proximity. Ocean shore locations are within 40 miles; Bar Harbor is approx. 70 miles.
