CASA LOS PAJAROS is a private vacation home rental near the beach in the peaceful, secluded Baja village of Cabo Pulmo. A short walk down a quiet lane takes you to beautiful white sand beaches for swimming and snorkeling on a live coral reef. Located within the Cabo Pulmo National Marine Park on the Sea of Cortez, it is a tastefully furnished, two story house featuring an acre of beautifully landscaped grounds with native trees, natural and planted tropical flowers, palm trees, fruit trees and giant cactus. Lime trees just out your kitchen door provide plenty of fresh fruit for the making of margaritas and ceviche.
Both floors are completely self contained allowing rental of either floor or the entire house depending on your space requirements. Each floor has access to a vista deck, both of which have views of the morning sun rising up out of the Sea of Cortez and the evening sun sinking into the Sierra La Trinidad Mountains, providing a wonderfully, peaceful way to enjoy your morning coffee and evening margaritas.
The upper floor deck and lower floor patio are 12 by 24 feet, partially shaded, equipped with BBQ, outdoor table and furniture, providing additional room for cooking, dining and relaxation. The upper floor has a small viewing deck off the dining room facing the west toward the La Trinidad Mountains. The lower floor has a west facing patio area with seating under a bougainvillea trellis and wild plum shade tree. Lawn swing and hammock are provided for outdoor relaxing among the trees. The upper floor interior features an attractive palapa style ceiling made from palm fronds peaking about 15 feet above the floor.
The kitchens on both floors are fully equipped with microwave, refrigerator, coffee grinder, juicer, toaster, blender and mixer as well as plenty of dishes and cooking utensils. Dining can be inside at the breakfast bars and full dining tables or outside at the patio tables.
Furnishings are comfortable, tasteful and well maintained. Both living areas provide plentiful seating with two sofas and charro chair, several reading lamps and large table for puzzles and games. The large windows offer excellent views of the flower gardens and Sea of Cortez.
The upper floor has an inside bathroom with tiled shower and vanity area. The lower floor has an inside bathroom with vanity area and just a step out the door a tiled outdoor shower surrounded with flowers for bathing under the stars.
Sleeping areas on both floors have privacy drapes and queen size bed. The lower floor also has an additional queen size foldout bed. Adult sized, comfortable sleeping cots are available on request for additional guests.
Water comes from a deep well and is pure, clean and excellent for drinking. There is local property management to make certain your vacation is worry free.

Should your party require additional sleeping accommodations, we have comfortable, adult sized cots available upon request. Lower unit guests may use these inside, which is large and provides plenty of moving about room, or outside on either the patio or vista deck. The upper unit can accommodate cots on the attached vista deck.

The protected, warm water behind the reef offers excellent swimming and snorkeling. Outstanding scuba destinations are easily reached from Cabo Pulmo. A series of coral fingers radiating out from the beach are home to hundreds of different species of colorful tropical fish. Choose your depth, from waist deep snorkeling to deep-water diving. Equipment and guided services for both activities are available at local dive shops. Year around deep sea fishing is available. The area is in the middle of world class roosterfish fishing. Local fishing guides with good equipment will take you out for tuna, dorado, wahoo, roosterfish and a variety of bottom fishes. Marlin trips can also be arranged. Outstanding kayaking destinations to view sea lions or picnic on nearby, secluded beaches are easily reached from the beaches at Cabo Pulmo. Kayaks can be rented locally for both unguided and guided trips. If you prefer, motor boats can be chartered for sightseeing and transportation to nearby beaches. When conditions are right, windsurfing is possible directly from the beaches at Cabo Pulmo and a surfing beach is available 20 miles south. From your door at CASA LOS PAJAROS you can walk to hiking trails into the local hills, Cave Mountain and around Pulmo Mountain. Photographic and bird watching opportunities are endless.
