Each room at the smoke-free Canyon Inn has a bathroom with shower. Food is provided for breakfast and the guest prepare it. A fully equipped kitchen, washer, dryer, and wireless DSL are available free.
The Canyon Inn is a clean, reasonably priced residence Bed and Breakfast. We have four rooms available each with a single bed.. Two rooms have regular size beds, one room has a queen size bed ,and one room has a king size bed. Each room has its own bathroom and shower. The room with the queen size bed has a bathtub also.
The Inn provides the food for breakfast and the guest prepare what they would like to eat when they are ready. The fully equipped kitchen is available for the use of the guest to prepare other meals with food that they purchase. We are less than five minutes (walking) from the supermarket. A small gas grill in the back yard is available for the guest.
We also have a washer and dryer with detergent provided available for the use of the guest.
A telephone for local calls located in the kitchen. A cable TV is provide in the living room. We have wireless DSL for the computer users. An Ethernet connection to the router is available in the living room.
Our rates are $70/night for each room. We honor Government rates. We accept VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, personal and travelers checks. We have special rates for stays of more than a week.
Canyon Inn is a simple Inn, with no fancy room names, galleries or gift shops. We do provide the atmosphere for many stimulating conversations among the guest. Our guest vary from university students to university faculty; from contractors at Los Alamos National Laboratory to construction workers; from vacationing couples to parents and relatives visiting children and other relatives. For the comfort of all our guest, smoking in the inn is prohibited. We have no facilities for pets. Our motto is, Mi casa, su casa. The Canyon Inn is your home away from home. We try very hard to make your visit to Northern New Mexico a pleasant one.
Canyon Inn is conveniently located near the downtown Los Alamos area. The town itself sits atop several volcanic mesas at 7,000 feet. We are located 32 miles Northwest of Santa Fe, 65 miles Southwest of Taos and 90 miles Northeast of Albuquerque.
Los Alamos has four distinct seasons and varied year-round outdoor activities. Day trips can be taken to Santa Fe, Taos, Bandelier National Monument, Indian Pueblos, the Jemez Mountains and other attractions. We are within walking distance (within one mile) of the downtown area, parks, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, restaurants and shopping.
