The Villa.
Our villa has 3 bedrooms (1 double with on suite wc & basin, 2 twins), lounge, dining area, kitchen and bathroom.
It is well equipped and simply but tastefully furnished. There are terracotta patios to the front and beside the private swimming pool, and a rear yard (good for playing games). There are several other villas nearby but the house stands within about 1¼ acres. The immediate area around the villa is planted. The rest is natural and contains olive, fig, citrus, peach, almond, eucalyptus, mimosa, pomegranate, bamboo and native broom. The villa is supplied with town water and electricity. Bottled gas is used for heating, water heating and the cooker hob. There are two gas heaters and a fire but you will find the villa cold in bad weather if you are used to central heating. For this reason we do not generally let it out in the cooler wetter months although we can do so if requested.
The kitchen is well equipped with cooking and tableware, including electric kettle, toaster, and coffee maker. There is a 4-ring gas hob, a microwave oven, a fridge/freezer, an iron and board, and all the necessary cleaning equipment. (In summer you will find that you just wear swimmers all day and washing will dry in an instant.) The bathroom has bath and simple shower, loo, bidet and basin.
All bedrooms have large built-in pine wardrobes. There are duvets and hot water bottles for winter, blankets for cooler weather and just sheets for summer.
The dining area has a table and six chairs. In the sitting room, you will find many games, cassettes, a few CD’s and a CD/tape/radio. An information file will be left out for you and you will find books of all types, (please leave). There is no telephone.
