Tillworth is truly a retreat – with its luxuriant historic log cabins surrounded by beautiful country-side, it is the perfect setting to enjoy a Romantic Weekend or our “Ultimate Pamper Getaway” stay, specifically designed for those who want to live the life style of the rich and famous on a limited budget.
Come with a loved one or spend quality time together with friends, watching the sunset from a rocking chair on the porch, a glass of wine in hand.
Tillworth, named after the tiny hamlet on the Dorset/Devon borders in the west of England where we once lived in a 350 year old cottage. The beautiful Round Top countryside with its farmlands, cattle, historic buildings and friendly people constantly reminds us of our former home. We hope to have brought with us that special warmth and hospitality that comes from those parts. In your room you will find a book entitled ‘The History of Hawkchurch’. Hawkchurch was our closest village comprising the Saxon Church, the little post office-cum-general store and, of course, what every good English village must have, a pub.
