We are located just 2 miles south of the town of Luray. Close to all major attractions, yet far enough away to experience the countryside and all it has to offer. We make a great home base for all your travels in the Shenandoah Valley.

Want an up close and personal encounter with some cows? Our neighbors will let you feed theirs. While staying at Bluemont, you can do as much or as little as you want. Please make our home your home' while in the Shenandoah Valley.

Our Mountain View Room, one of three rooms offers you a birdseye view of the Skyline Drive as well a the lights of Skyland Lodge in the evening. This room features a cherry poster queen size bed, fireplace, a large sitting area with sofa, chair, TV,VCR and a private bath.

All of our guest rooms have private baths with a full size tub, great for a relaxing soak, and shower.

All guests have use of the guest living room and a separate lounge area equipped with a microwave and refrigerator where you can help yourself to complimentary snacks and refreshments any time day or night.

Be prepared to be pampered with a full 3 course breakfast as well as a decadent evening dessert.

In mileage, Bluemont Bed & Breakfast is approximately 90 miles from both Washington D.C. and Charlottesville VA. But in atmosphere and feeling, we are a world away.

The small town atmosphere is quite appealing. If you are into nature,hiking, biking, canoing this is the place for you. If you are intriqued by underground caverns, our area abounds in them. Interested in the Civil War? You couldn't find a better location to explore many of the civil war sites. Like to do some wine tasting? There are several nearby. If you are an antiquer from Luray north and south on Route 11, you will be in your glory.

We are easy to find. From I-81, Exit 264 at New Market.Follow 211 East to Luray. Follow 340 Business South approximately 1 1/2 miles. The Luray Woodworks Shop is opposite our driveway. Turn right into the drive and follow it to the top of the hill where you will find your million dollar view waiting for you.
