Welcome to the Deerfield Valley Inn, a charming inn in southern Vermont. Built in 1885, the inn is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Much of the woodwork throughout is original to the first owner, John Davis, a local lumber merchant.
Conveniently located at the foot of the Green Mountains, centered between Bennington and Brattleboro, the Inn is only minutes from Mount Snow, a leisurely 4 hour drive from Manhattan or 2.5 hours from downtown Boston.
The Inn has 9 individually decorated antique-filled guest rooms, each with private bathroom, TV, VCR or DVD. Firve of the rooms feature a woodburning fireplace and sitting area.
Start your day with a full country breakfast and relax with a light afternoon tea in the living room by the fireplace.
There are countless reasons to visit the Mt. Snow area of southern Vermont in all seasons. Downhill skiing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snow shoeing and ice skating are at your doorstep in winter. Hiking, mountain biking, canoeing, fishing, and golfing opportunities abound in the warm months.
And, of course, the incomparable fall foliage display has to be seen to be believed. More leisurely activities in this naturally beautiful corner of America include antiquing, music festivals, arts and crafts viewing, and outlet shopping.
