Battenkill Inn

At the base of Mount Equinox, the Battenkill Inn offers gracious country accommodations, just minutes from Manchester Village. Exceptional fishing is available from our banks on the Battenkill River. The classic 1840 Inn has high ceilings and marble fireplaces. Nine distinctive guest rooms and two luxury suites, each with a private bath, are decorated with antiques. Several rooms have working fireplaces and some open onto porches looking out over the Inn’s seven acres and on to the Battenkill River and Green Mountains. Included in the room rate are full country breakfast each morning, afternoon cookies with coffee/tea, and evening hors d’oeuvres with wine. Practice casting on our stocked trout pond. The Inn can help arrange Orvis-endorsed fishing guides for fly-casting the many trout streams in the area. Alpine and cross-country skiing, antiquing, hiking, canoeing, golfing, and outlet shopping are all nearby. An antique barn has been carefully restored to provide a gathering place for weddings, receptions, and family celebrations during the summer and fall.
