Surrounded by giant blue spruce tree this 1919 large Arts and Crafts style brick home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In town, it has 4 large bedrooms all with private baths. The Oregon Trail passes within 30 miles of Lander. Extensive flower gardens surround this Arts and Crafts style home with benches and tables by a fountain to provide a relaxing atmosphere. There are four rooms, all with private baths. There is a small library in the sitting area upstairs and a recreational room with a pool table, TV set and piano in the basement. Activities available in the area include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, hiking, biking, fly fishing, white water rafting, back packing, packing with horses, llamas or goats, rock climbing, horse back riding, and wild life viewing. The Wind River Indian reservation with Sacajawea’s grave site is adjacent to Lander. Ice tea, lemonade and a selection of hot teas is available at all times. Breakfast consists of a full meal with juice, an egg entree, a meat, fresh fruit, coffee or tea, milk and a fresh home made baked entree.
